Tinkercad/Autodesk Email Account Verification

To protect your account and prevent fraud, identity verification is now a requirement for all Autodesk products, including Tinkercad. This means you will be required to complete a 1-time identity verification and email confirmation.

If you don’t have access to the email address associated with the account, you can change it at https://accounts.autodesk.com

 

Who will be affected by this change?

Anyone over the age of 13 who used an email address for account creation will be required to complete a one time email verification.

Important Note: Students under 13 and social sign-in are exempt from this email verification.

 

When will this change take place?

If the account verification process has not been completed by December 4th, 2017, it will be required when you first sign-in to Tinkercad. 

 

Can I verify my email now?

Yes! You can verify your email today by following these steps:

  1. Login at https://accounts.autodesk.com
  2. Select Security Settings
  3. Click "Verify Email" to send the Verification email

    Important Note: If you do not see the Verify Email button, then your email has already been verified.

  4. Check your email.
  5. Open the email from noreply@mail.accounts.autodesk.com
  6. Click on the VERIFY EMAIL button/link

  7. That's it! Head back over to Tinkercad.com and are ready to start Tinkering.

If you don’t receive the email verification:

  • Check your spam folder. The sender email is noreply@mail.accounts.autodesk.com.
  • If it’s not in your spam folder, click Resend on the verification screen.
  • If you are still having issues, contact Autodesk support.

If you receive the email, but the verification link doesn’t work:

  • Copy the URL located at the bottom of the email and paste it your web browser. 
  • If you are still having issues, contact Autodesk support.

 

My students cannot receive email from outside of the school. What steps should I take?

If external emails are blocked by the school, you will need to contact your IT department. 

The following email address must be allowed to reach the email account for verification.

     noreply@mail.accounts.autodesk.com

Important Note: This is the same email that is required for password reset

 

I use multiple Autodesk products, will I need to verify my email more than once?

No. Each email only needs to be verified once. For example, if you user Tinkercad and Fusion, you will only be required to verify your email on one of the products. This will complete the verification for all products.

 

If I change my email, will I be required to verify again?

Yes. Each email address must be verified.

 

What if I do not receive the verification email?

If you don’t receive the email verification:

I entered a fake email when I created my account, what should I do?

  1. Navigate to https://accounts.autodesk.com 
  2. Log in with current credentials
  3. Update email address (you must be able to receive email to the account)
  4. Save Changes 

 

I no longer have access to my email address, what should I do?

  1. Navigate to https://accounts.autodesk.com 
  2. Log in with current credentials
  3. Update email address (you must be able to receive email to the account)
  4. Save Changes
